Work with the intended tone.
The production leaned into the deliberately cheesy style of the brief rather than treating every effect as an attempt at realism.
Turning product skits into a deliberately playful conference presentation.
01 / Context & contribution
Mad Catz wanted an intentionally humorous, exaggerated presentation for a conference. The videos needed to introduce products while fitting the tone of the skits.
Alex “Big Boy” Verrey created the skits. I filmed the footage, created the special effects, and edited the material into three videos for the presentation.
02 / Design decisions
The production leaned into the deliberately cheesy style of the brief rather than treating every effect as an attempt at realism.
The set included a looping video for arriving guests and product-focused videos for the Tritton headset range and Mustang game controller.
I worked across filming, effects, and editing, carrying the same comedic direction through the finished pieces.

04 / Outcome & reflection
I produced three videos for the conference presentation: a looping arrival video and two product-focused pieces.
This earlier work reflects the same attention to pacing, visual hierarchy, and intended audience that I bring to interfaces, expressed through a different medium.
