The brief and my role.
The challenge
Evan Guido’s team wanted to use Emerald Connect’s financial content without adopting a standard template appearance. The implementation had to accommodate a custom design inside the existing proprietary CMS.
My contribution
A third-party designer supplied the visual design. My role was to implement it using an existing CMS template, adapting its structure and behavior to achieve the intended appearance.

Bridge the structural gaps.
I used jQuery to modify the DOM where needed to bring the supplied design into the platform’s available structure.
Keep authorship clear.
The reference screens shown here are the supplied designs. My contribution was frontend implementation, not the original visual concept.

What I take forward
This is an example of carrying a design into a constrained environment: understanding what the platform provides, identifying the differences, and working through the implementation details.
